Assessment of your current workstation wherever that may be is carried out using Ergo Global’s virtual self-assessment and education tool.

The user is taken through a step-by-step evaluation, the same as they would be during an in-person evaluation. The evaluation provides real-time advice and education on setting up a chair, desk and all other equipment used while working.

Once completed, the software will generate an individualized report with adjustments recommended to the user’s workspace and behaviors/routines throughout the evaluation. The report will also include ergonomics accessories that may improve the user’s posture at their workstation and a printable ‘cheat sheet’ with recommended stretches and desk setup which can be placed on the user’s desk as a reminder.

How long does this take to complete?

The self-assessment takes approximately 30 minutes to complete in full

Can I save this and return to it later?

Yes, you can start the evaluation, save it, and return to it if required.

What if the employee completes the self-assessment but has further questions?

On completion of the evaluation the employee will receive a detailed report specific to the responses they inputted. 2 weeks later, the employee will be followed up by a Ergo Global Ergonomics Consultant. At this point, the employee can ask any further questions.

What if the employee completed the self-assessment but continues to have issues?

This is a case by case situation. However, in certain circumstances, the employee may need an evaluation with an Ergonomist. This pathway can be discussed and agreed upon with you when designing a package for your needs.
