The Duties of
The Employer

Article 132-3 (Law No. 6-96)
The management of the company at the highest level must consider the promotion of safety and the improvement of working conditions as an essential part of its responsibilities.
Every employer is required to adopt an occupational risk prevention policy integrated into the company's economic and financial policy.
They must take all necessary or useful provisions or measures to ensure the prevention of occupational risks.
These provisions or measures relate in particular to the location and establishment of the company, the acquisition and installation of equipment or materials, the layout of the work environment, and the organization of work. -
Article 132-4 (Law No. 6-96)
At each workstation, instructions concerning the prevention of occupational risks must be established and posted.
Every worker must be informed of these instructions by the employer upon hiring.
The labor inspector may authorize exemptions from establishing the aforementioned instructions for certain workstations deemed to present minor risks. -
Article 141-3 (Law No. 6-96)
The employer shall ensure the information and education of workers and members of the health and safety committees and the prevention of occupational risks inherent in the profession or the company's activity.
