To Note
Palau does not have any legislation specific to ergonomics. Its Division of Labor Rules & Regulations from Februrary 2019 contains one article that outlines general health and safety responsibilities of the employer:
Article 6.5 - To ensure safe and healthful working conditions for both Resident and Nonresident Workers in the Republic, Employers shall furnish and use personal and other safety devices to safeguard against and prevent injuries and illnesses arising out of the work environment. Employers shall adopt reasonable and adequate health and safety rules and sha ll require their employees to comply with such rules for the benefit of both Employers and employees. Employers shall provide an adequate supply of drinking water and sufficient and sanitary toilet facilities at the work site or reasonable access thereto.
