Article 18 - Employer's Obligations to Ensure Labor Protection
1. Responsibilities for ensuring labor protection in an organization are assigned to the employer.
2. The employer is obliged to ensure:
- appropriate safe working conditions and labor protection at each workplace;
- safety of workers during the operation of buildings, structures, equipment, implementation of technological processes, as well as raw materials and materials used in production;
- use of individual and collective protective equipment for workers;
- work and rest regime for workers in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan;
- training in safe methods and techniques for performing work, labor protection instruction, on-the-job training of workers and verification of their knowledge of labor protection requirements, non-admission to work of persons who have not undergone the specified training, instruction, internship and verification of knowledge of labor protection requirements in the established manner;

Article 19 - Worker's Obligations in the Field of Labor Protection
1. The worker is obliged to:
- comply with labor protection requirements established by regulatory legal acts;
- undergo mandatory preliminary (upon employment), periodic (during work activities), as well as pre-shift medical examinations (examinations), in cases provided for by legislation;
- undergo labor protection instruction and training in safe work methods, on-the-job training and periodic verification of knowledge of labor protection requirements;
- fulfill therapeutic and health measures prescribed by medical institutions if financed by the employer.
