The Duties of

48/2016, Article 9
OSH planning - In making OSH Plan as referred to in Article (2) the employer shall consider:
a. Result of initial/preliminary review;
b. Identification of hazard, risk assessment and management;
c. Other prevailing regulations and requirements; and
d. Existing resources. -
48/2016, Article 11 (1)
Meeting requirements -
1) In implementing OSH Plan employers shall undertake activities in meeting OSH requirements. This should at least include:
a. Control measures;
b. Design and engineering;
c. Working procedure and instruction;
d. Submission of partial work;
e. Purchasing/procurement of goods and services;
f. Final product;
g. Occupational and industrial disaster emergency situation measures; and
h. Emergency rehabilitation and planning.

Support in any location - The employer is responsible for ensuring Office Ergonomics, which extends to the worker's computer setup and posture regardless of location. -

Necessary provisions - The employer is responsible for providing the necessary OSH facilities and infrastructure (which includes the tools needed to work safely from home). -

Monitor work methods - The employer must monitor work methods, which involves ensuring the remote worker is not exposed to risks during their work process.

Employees are responsible for:
1) Adjusting the seat height and backrest to ensure feet are flat on the floor and the lower back is supported.
2) For every 20 minutes of computer use, looking at an object 20 feet (6 meters) away for 20 seconds to reduce digital eye strain.
3) Performing 10–15 minutes of stretching after every 2 hours of continuous work to alleviate muscle tension.
4) Using safe lifting techniques—bending at the knees rather than the waist—when moving heavy office equipment or supplies.
